Saturday night I was so excited to go to an outdoor movie in the park in downtown Phoenix. A huge screen was set up, and we got cozy with about 1,000 other Phoenix people and cuddled up in the park to watch The Princess Bride. First of all, I haven’t seen that movie since I was like… 10? I loved it! The kids loved it, and we were surrounded by a group who literally had the whole movie memorized so we got extra surround sound ;).
I’m not going to lie, I had nachos, a cinnamon sugar pretzel, and some Waffle Crush for dinner that night. Gotta do what you gotta do…
We were about two blankets short and it was a lot colder than I anticipated. I wanted to make sure the kids were warm so they had the biggest blanket, while Mike and I shared the tiniest ones. The demographic of movie watchers was either college kids hard core spooning under blankets, or families with kids and husbands/wives having to get close together simply because it was cold out. You could tell who was forced to have to cuddle, and who went there with the intention of doing some major cuddling. HA. I realized HOW OLD I AM. I think I’m starting this strange life realization that I’ve been out of college for a while and am no longer in my young 20s. I’m embracing it and I love it, but it is SO weird.
At one point during the movie I had to go to the bathroom really bad (nothing new), so I shuffled my way over to the port a potties and had to talk myself into going inside. I forgot my phone so once I shut the door, I seriously could hardly see anything. I knew that it was not going to end well for me. At one point, I opened my eyes (I had to close them because I tried to forget where I was) only to find my head was straight in the little urinal.
That about sums up my weekend… hahaha… I hope you all had a good one!
I tagged my clothes above, but here they are again… Most of them are on major sale so I wanted to share…
