I can’t believe it’s May, and triple digits already in Phoenix! We’ve been working so hard trying to move into our house, but we moved in the same week that quarantine started, so progress has been made slowly but surely. One of the top must-haves when looking for our new home was to be sure it had a pool. You guys, it gets SO hot here in the summer it feels like an oven. I knew I couldn’t survive it without a pool! One of my biggest problems with pools though, is that I can’t get my hair wet. Any other blondes feel me on this one? 🙂 The chlorine turns my hair bright blue and green. One time in college, I drove to my mom’s house at midnight after swimming because I was in tears after seeing my reflection and looking like a smurf! We were up all night pouring every concoction on my hair to try to save it. I haven’t gone under water in a pool since.
Which is why I’m extra excited to be able to jump into our new pool. We partnered with Hayward to convert our pool into a salt water pool! This means we don’t have to deal with the harsh chlorine chemicals, and the water feels so soft. It also helps reduce skin and eye irritation, and I was surprised to see that it will also save us money on pool maintenance. It’s a win all around. Our pool guy converted it quickly, and we are ready for summer! Our family, who has been over swimming, all keep commenting on how good the pool feels, and I will be floating in it literally all summer long. You can check out the product here.
Can’t wait to show you more of our pool, house, and yard as we continue to get things together. Have a great weekend everyone!
