The Easter season is such a time for renewal for me. I will be posting more about that later this upcoming week, but for now I wanted to share with you pictures from our weekend.
When we met the kids 4 years ago, we took them to an Easter parade/festival. This year, Zoe danced in it with her dance troupe and I had such a moment watching it. It is so crazy how time and unforeseen life events work together to create something better than you ever imagined. Saturday night we had a neighborhood Easter egg hunt and BBQ, and stayed out for hours and hours in the street with our neighbors. We have the best street, and we all sit and chat while the kids run amuck. It feels like a neighborhood should, and we’re so lucky to be surrounded by such great people.
Sunday was full of church and family and so much food. I have eaten way too much this weekend, I think I could explode at any moment 😉 (but for some reason on holidays like this, I just keep eating anyways.)
I hope you all had a great weekend!
PS: A lot of you asked about my dress on Instagram… the link is under the last picture above… the dress is less than $100 and so comfortable and perfect. Highly suggest it!
